The Operations Coordinator will serve on the Central Business Operations Team working to support the Business Operation Pastor in multiple areas including administrative support, minor business office functions, general church metrics and reporting, database administration, and location support.

Principle Responsibilities
Modeling Biblical Priorities
Responsible for upholding Biblical priorities and core values of Newlands Church. The team member should represent a growing personal relationship with Christ.
These objectives are accomplished by:
- Committing to a daily quiet-time with God.
- Participating in and/or leading a Newlands Church group on a regular basis.
- Setting appropriate boundaries to protect character and integrity.
- Developing personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church.
- Supporting the ministries of Newlands Church by faithfully tithing.
- Adhering to and encompassing the Core Vision and Values of Newlands Church employees
Administrative Responsibilities
- Coordinating schedules and meeting times
- Coding and verifying purchases for accuracy
- General filing and upkeep of Business Office records
- Ordering office supplies
- Part of the phone answering rotation
Business/Operational Functions
- Ensure church wide metrics are maintained and accurate
- Create and maintain weekly reports
- Asset tracking and management
- Minor IT support for staff
- Interoffice communication as needed
- Assist the Business Operation Pastor with new initiatives
Ministry Functions
- Event planning and coordination for Business Leaders Pathway and Groups
- Coordinating meetings with church members and attenders
- Assist with the Leadership Training and Pathway
- Serve on the first-time guest follow up team
Location Support
- Provide weekly and Sunday morning support for multisite locations
- Serve in ministry areas based on the Location’s need
- Assist in communicating with Build Team Leaders
- Schedule and communicate with volunteers as needed
